Before becoming the Founder and Group Managing Diretor of SCAVAI Alliance Pte Ltd and eCoaching International Pte Ltd, Ambran Abu Bakar was the Managing Director, Franchise Owner and Principal Consultant of a Global Consulting firm specialising in Audio Visual and Acoustics. He was also managing two high profile projects: Astar & University of Reading for a well established Audio Visual System Integrator.
Ambran returned to Singapore to take a three year break with his family, having lived and worked in Hong Kong, Dubai (United Arab Emirates) and Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) for nearly nine years. He was a Business & Technology Advisor, Smart+Connected Communities (S+CC) in Cisco Systems Services Hong Kong Pte Ltd (18 months) and Cisco International BV (Dubai) (30 months). A Business and Technology Lead focused on the Convergence of Emerging Technologies, complimented a team focusing on S+CC., Ambran brings 23 years global expertise and experience to the technology and AV industry.    
Ambran also founded A2Y Consulting Sdn Bhd and A2Y International Pte Ltd and was the Managing Director and Principal Consultant spearheading a statewide Telepresense Project for Selangor Government. He was also the General Manager of Pacific Visula Systems (Esco Malaysia), Senior Consultant of Arup Singapore, CCW Associates and NCS (Singtel Aeradio).
In business aspects, Ambran was involved in citywide masterplanning, developing service concepts, business cases and financial models. In technology aspects, Ambran was also a Subject Matter Expert in the basis of design for emerging technologies, converged audio visual design, telepresence/video conferencing, digital signage and command and control centres. In Project Management aspects, on occasion Ambran played a role as the Project Director/Manager for Mega projects.
